Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Hello Andrea, when turning RIght (less than two millimeters) there are two points: Before or after the correct point of stop? Regards Wolf Ulrich It stops beyond the correct point. It should stop earlier. I have tried with Position_R parameter but: either it does not change anything or, when the pa...

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Hello Andrea, Reflector disc: the black parts are not really black! Take a felt-tip pen to make this parts really black! I used glittering white photopaper and after print the felt-tip pen to correct the black parts to deep black! Addendum: I tested also the following method with very good results ...

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Your Parameter: - V_Mess and V_Count are near the upper limits! - Pos_detection L and R are at the lower limits! - motor current L and R more than 10% R to L ( mechanic/motor ) - FastSpeed L and R are lower then the Lowspeed! You are referring to the old parameters setting, partially changed in the...

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
I do not know. However, when turning to the left, it works and the rails are well aligned. Why is your sensor before the white mark, and not on it?
Is your sensor really connected correctly?
I'll be grateful for any contribution to solve the problem

Re: slack between metal shaft and plastic gear
Hello, the "slack" has no influence at all - don't care about this. There ist no slack from the sensor input and the position. the slack from motor to sensor is not interesting. Sven My explanation was not very clear: the "slack" was not between sensor input and motor, but insid...

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Possible, if you set all "RIGHT" Commands (DIR, STEP, TURN) to the same address as the LEFT commands. So no matter if the DSD gets the command to turn Right or Left it will always turn left. But TC might be confused that turning one step right will take such a long time (47 Steps left), s...

slack between metal shaft and plastic gear
In my mechanism that moves the platform, there is too much "slack" (hope is the right English word) between the metal shaft and the small black plastic gear. For "metal shaft" I mean the vertical shaft that brings the motion vertically down, to the round metal gear that moves the...

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Thank you Sven for your reply. I have increased the "right low speed" with some good results, but not always acceptable. I attach two screenshots taken at full speed: the first when turning left, the second when turning right. However, in these tests there were no random stops. Unfortunate...
