Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Hello,
here the screenprint from parmeters of my turntable with the oldest märklin motor.
Positioning is 100% in both directions since 9 years, There are some different values to your parameters:
Your Parameter:
- V_Mess and V_Count are near the upper limits!
- Pos_detection L and R are at the lower limits!
- motor current L and R more than 10% R to L ( mechanic/motor )
- FastSpeed L and R are lower then the Lowspeed!
Most parameters are never changed by me. ( factory set )
First load the factory values ( Default values )to the DSD and try again.
Regards
Wolf Ulrich

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Hello Andrea,
Reflector disc:
the black parts are not really black!
Take a felt-tip pen to make this parts really black!
I used glittering white photopaper and after print the felt-tip pen to correct the black parts to deep black!
Addendum:
I tested also the following method with very good results
two reflector disks (normal printed paper) placed one over the other mounted to the mechanical Holder!
Regards
Wolf Ulrich

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
You are referring to the old parameters setting, partially changed in the actual setting.
The picture of the reflector disc is taken with the actual parameters:
- V_Mess and V_Count = 200 and 180
- Pos_detection L and R are at the lower limits are at 1 and 1, but when I try to increase the "Position detection R" parameter nothing happens, or, when really high, the platform stops one entire track earlier
- motor current L and R indeed are 49 and 62 (I guess coming from the "direct drive")
- Fastspeeds are 126 and 126, Lowspeeds are 33 and 33
Here below the actual parameters setting
Thanks for your help

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
I will follow your advice but I must say that the wrong alignment is only when turning RIght (less than two millimeters), while the alignment is correct when turning Left: how can it be a reflector problem?wuwesso hat geschrieben: ↑Mi 29. Sep 2021, 06:54 Hello Andrea,

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
Hello Andrea,
Before or after the correct point of stop?
Regards
Wolf Ulrich
there are two points:when turning RIght (less than two millimeters)
Before or after the correct point of stop?

Re: Wrong positioning when turning right
It stops beyond the correct point. It should stop earlier.
I have tried with Position_R parameter but: either it does not change anything or, when the parameter is set very high, it stops one track earlier (and, even in that case, the rails are not aligned)
Thanks
Andrea
